The title of this post, Dogs Never Lie About Love is a title of one of the new books I just got in. See the description in the column to the left. You can click those links and see an extensive description on Amazon and you can buy a copy there also if you wish. The coffee shop will get a small commission for books you buy through these links. But these books are in stock now right here in this one-light town (Melrose, Florida) and there are no shipping charges.
I just want to mention that I only have one copy of these books in the shop..Most are either used..but gently and most of them are in Like New Condition.. The moral of the story is if you see a book listed here come in quick and get it because they are moving fast..both in my online sales at Amazon.com and Half.com and in the actual coffee shop itself. I have a source for remainder books, which are completely new and wonderful books I hand pick and drag back home :-) I love gardening and am kind of knowledgeable so I do choose many nice gardening books.
We now have several sections developing. Yes, there is some order to the bookshelves now..
There is a cookbook section which includes a book on cooking without wheat, an organic cookbook and even a Weight Watchers cookbook. There are spiritual books, non-fiction, history and a section of antiquarian books right next to the pictures of Cherie, Cathleen and my mother....in that funny shelf bolted into the wall. I have a few old children's books, Bobsey Twins and The Hardy Boys.
Anyway, come on in and have a cup of that magic coffee, meet your old friends and make some new ones..Music will be happening regularly again every Wednesday morning..starting around 9:30AM..Once again, I beg you...please do not wait until 10:30 to make a fashionably late entrance. By then all the quiche could be eaten by someone else.
I am kind of disappointed that Glenda will not be doing the lunch as planned for awhile. She is having some family issues and needs to get her life settled down a bit before proceeding..Quiche works for lunch too you know..and I don't slam the door at twelve noon.
