The weather lately has seemed similar to that of Philadelphia..and we have all these snowbirds returning to improve the economy for the winter..Oh yes, and we actually have a white bird who wants to live on the awning outside the coffee shop..I confess I have shoo-ed him away because he is not housebroken and well, we can't have folks getting sh*t upon....
Music will commence again tomorrow morning and hopefully we will be back on schedule for our every Wednesday morning singing and playing guitars and percussion instruments event..Every Wednesday Morning...yes in the morning about 9:30 AM and please don't wait until 10:30 to come in because there will be no seats by then. We have a great casual time on Wednesday..I wonder how Hannah's novel is coming along? I have been a bit concerned about it since there is this character who slightly resembles me....LOL...Other famous and notorious characters can sometimes be spotted in one small coffee shop in Melrose.
Check out the new books over to the left. There are many more which I haven't entered here..Lots of really swell plant and gardening books which I am tempted to keep myself. An entire cookbook section and many really nice recent novels, hardbacks in perfect like-new condition. I want to say thanks to many people who have donated books to the coffee shop..Mary Jane, Rob and Laurel, Carol, Bobbie, Emily, Joy, Bob, Jeannie B and many more...thank you so much for helping to keep the coffee flowing. We do get by with a little help from our friends..There are so many sweet, generous people here with a true community spirit and I am so blessed to be a part of it all.. Remember me when we vote in two years.. I think I would make a real good sheriff...gotta learn how to use one of those pistols though:-) I will clean up Putnam Hall by the way, if I have to sit out there myself.
Come in early for a peaceful beginning to a workday and meet these people, my faithful morning gang. Funny, Rob is taking my picture as I am snapping their happy sweet faces.
