Please stop in and have a look at the great selection of books we now have in the coffee shop.Oh, also books on disk for those long rides. This picture has one of the collections and in front is one of my little plant thingies...a coontie palm with miniature ornamental grass. Almost all of the books have been lovingly cared for, and are in like new condition. There are some antique books but most are recent non-fiction and some good fiction titles also. These books are listed in my online shops at both ebayhalf.com and amazon...but you can save on shipping costs by coming in to the shop, having a cup of coffee and a frank the baker pastry and purchasing any of them in person. It is much more fun that way. Oh donations are most graciously accepted. It is a good way to help support your little community center painlessly..Just take a look at all of your crowded bookshelves and pick out a few you haven't looked at in months or years and bring them in. It will help keep the place going. I also will buy or trade books in like-new condition. If you have over 100 books I will come and have a look at them and we can figure out an arrangement fair to everyone..The old win/win routine:-)
I also have local honey, organic insect repellent, antiques, plants and other weird and wonderful things which make a visit to the coffee shop like a treasure hunt, as one of our regulars likes to say.
The books in the sidebar to the left are new books which I do not have in the coffee shop. They are for sale on Amazon and as an associate I simply advertise those and if you buy one or two or three I get a miniscule comission....I end up getting a gift certificate a couple of times a year for fifteen dollar. Actually if you click on any of those book titles and enter Amazon and buy anything I will get a comission...same with the redbox over to the right.
